  1. Step 1

    Materials:

♦ Worsted-Aran weight yarn in black and white.
♦ Sport weight yarn in pink for the nose.
♦ G hook (4mm) for body, head, and nose.
    ♦ B hook (2.25mm) for everything else.
    ♦ Stuffing of your choice.
    ♦ Transparent nylon thread (optional)

    Stitches:

    Ch - chain
    Sc - Single crochet
Inc - 2 sc in st.
    Dec - sc2tog.
    Sk st - skip stitch.
    Sl st - slip stitch.

  2. Step 2

    Head:

With G hook and white yarn, 6 sc into ring.

Round 1: Inc in every st. (12 sts)

Round 2: (Inc, sc) to end. (18 sts)

Round 3: (Inc, sc 2) to end. (24 sts)

Rounds 4-8: Sc in every st.

Round 9: (Dec, sc 2) to end. (18 sts)

Round 10: (Dec, sc) to end. (12 sts)

Sk st, sl st in next st.

    Eyes (Make 2):

With B hook and 2 strands of black yarn,
6 sc into ring. Sl st to join.

With 2 strands of white yarn,
make a french knot near the center.

With pink yarn, bring your sewing needle up through the hole (in the middle) of the crochet circle. Make 6 straight stitches.

With one strand of black yarn, bring your sewing needle up through the hole of the crochet circle, and make two straight stitches outlining the pink yarn. Then, make another two for the mouth.

Put sewing needle under the top right black line and pull through and then do the same for the top left, bottom left, and then the bottom right. Pull tight, bring needle back through the center of the crochet circle and make a knot.

    Ears (Make 2):

With B hook and black yarn, ch 3.
3 sc into the first ch. Sl st into ring.

    Body:

With G hook and white yarn, 6 sc into ring.

Round 1: Inc in every st. (12 sts)

Round 2: (Inc, sc) to end. (18 sts)

Round 3: (Inc, sc 2) to end. (24 sts)

Round 5: (Dec, sc 2) to end. (18 sts)

Round 6: Sc in every st.

Sl st in next st. Break yarn.

With black, insert hook into the sl st and pull up a loop.
Yarn over and pull through. This counts as first sc.

Sc around to the first sc made and sl st into it.
Ch 1, (Dec, sc 2) to the last st, dec.
    Sl st in next st.
