• 

  Step 1

  Gather all the requirements
  *Newspaper
  *Gum
  *Petroleum jelly
  *Paint brushes
  *Water
  *Punching machine (optional)

  Step 2

  Tear the newspaper into bite sized shreds.

• 

  Step 3

  Apply generous amount of petroleum jelly onto your mould mask

• 

  Step 4

  Do not leave any gaps or else later the mask won't come off as easily.

• 

  Step 5

  Mix water and glue in the proportion of 1:2.

• 

  Step 6

  Mix it nice and well. Keep the paper pieces ready.

• 

  Step 7

  Dip the paper pieces into the glue mixture and apply it onto the mould.

• 

  Step 8

  After the first coat let it dry completely before you go for the next coat.

• 

  Step 9

  4-5 coats later..

  Let it dry overnight,

• 

  Step 10

  Start to peel the mask. Gently separate it from the mold

• 

  Step 11

  4-5 coats later...

  ... let it dry for a good 6 hours, or overnight

• 

  Step 12

  Lets start peeling our mask.

• 

  Step 13

  Start with the edges and gently slide it away from the mould.

• 

  Step 14

  There! its out.

• 

  Step 15

  Mark it with a pencil and cut out the extras for a eye mask

• 

  Step 16

  Give it a base colour coat

• 

  Step 17

  Decorate!
