So this was a long time in the making. Mainly because I never had any ideas what so ever for it.

Me and My friend always used to get each other the same thing for Christmas each year and a couple of years ago we bought these mirrors to paint up and give to each other. It was one of those preshaped ones that you buy to paint/cover. So Christmas comes along and neither of us had done anything so the mirror got put away into my draw. I tried to get it done for her birthday the next year. This is when I had engraved onto the mirror a trumpet. However that was all that came to me in the end so once again it got put back into the draw. Last year before her birthday again an idea finally sprung to me! And thus this design was born.

My friend love her reptiles (I can't even remember how many snakes and lizards she owns now) and she is also a musician/music teacher. The snake in the image is a jungle python. Over the yellow section of its print there is actually glow in the dark paint :D Had to do a few coats of that! The snake is also weaving between the music staff.

I was extremely pleased with the end result and glad that I was actually able to do something to the mirror in the end... Still waiting on mine though :P
