  1. Step 1

first, choose the colors you want. you'll need a LOT..i used up about 3 or 4 bottles..
choose a bigger brush that you don't mind ruining...mine lost like half its length in the process...
pick the wall area you want to paint it on..
also don't forget to put newspaper under the area you want to paint!! i did at first and now i have a few green spots under the tree..

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

paint the trunk with a nice, warm brown
don't mind if it's uneven..that will just give it a woody feeling

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

now, paint on the lower branches of the canopy. if you can, make a HUGE amount of this color (i mixed 4 together, because i didn't have the right one) so that it is the same all over, but if you can't that's okay too, cause a tree has different layers of colors too..

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    almost done!!!
(this was my 3rd color mixing, but i think it turned out fairly well)

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

fix up the tree a bit, make it branch out more if needed...after all it needs to be able to hold vampires too :D
(notice how it doesn't curve in anymore..)

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

yay, i added little jake too peeking out from behind the tree :) he's so cute and looks so fluffy i could just hug him <3

    isn't he awesome?

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

now, add a little layer to the tree and the trunk to make it more natural looking..
i used a darker green on the canopy and a white on the trunk

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

and of course add a few glow-in-the-dark stars to complete the feeling...

i was thinking of painting a few rain drops cause it is forks after all..do you think i should?
