  1. Step 1

First you need a couple of barstools.I got 2 on craigslist for about 10 dollars. It doesnt matter what kind of shape they're in,you're going to be sanding them anyways.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Now onto the sanding.

  3. Step 3

Once you have finished sanding the barstools. You can apply whatever coat of acrylic paints you'd like. For mine I chose blue and green for one,and purple and silver for another.

  4. Step 4

For the top of the barstools you can either use photos, magazine pictures or you can do as I do and print out a picture you like from the computer. On one of my barstools I chose a photo of my son and made it into a pop art photo and printed it out.

  5. Step 5

I used mod podge as glue for the photos.Once you're done attaching the photo, make sure not to get any mod podge around the paper.I picked up Paint pens from Micheals.I then added black and white stripes all around the picture.

  6. Step 6

And once you're done with that, just apply mod podge all over the barstools as a sealer. And you're done!

lol, I love how in the fourth picture you see something that resembles the silver surfer from "Fantastic Four" peeking up from behind the stool. I love the designs, you have some serious talent going on!
