the simple&silly project.

I was really really bored, and I wanted to make something, but my sewing machine was with theguythatfixessewingmachines. so... I looked around and saw my pins and had the greatest/silliest/simplest idea.
I bought my pins at a very low price, a while ago. they are great at pinning, but the paint they have on their "head" kept coming off. so I decided to paint them!

  1. Step 1 1

So first grab the pins. Look at those horrible friends of mine. You can "peel off" the paint if you want, or leave it there. But if it has a lot of about-to-get-lose paint, take it off.

  2. Step 2 2

Grab the nail polish. I had these, but never really used them. The pink one is lovely, but I'm REAAAALLY white, and it looked hideous on me. And the blue one is awesome, also, but I found a better brand, so it was set aside.

  3. Step 3 3

Take one pin from the sharp point. And prepare to dip it into the nail polish. You can do this directly on the bottle, or maybe pour some in a soda lid, or so.

  4. Step 4 4

Dip it completely and pull it out. Shake it a bit, tap it against the border, gently, so you lose the extra material.

  5. Step 5 5

Pin them on foam or styrofoam to dry. They dry really quick! I had my windows open, and in about 10 minutes they were perfect.

  6. Step 6 6

    And enjoy!!!!

I don't know how much the nail polish will last, or if it will start to come off. But at least, you give good use to hideous nailpolish and little sad pins!
