I found leftover hardwood floor tiles in my basement and am currently lacking the budget for new canvas, so I put them to a better use than the trash pile! The background is a matte interior paint I found leftover in my garage sponged on. After that dried, I painted on the lettering and designs (which are acrylic paint I had in my craft box) with an angled paint brush. and Tah-dah. It looks cute hanging over my bed. I made my boyfriend and my niece some too. A nifty project for free!
