easy to make origami boxes

You're supposed to tell a story when you're making the box. I've written mine in each step, but you can make your own!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Get your piece of paper and fold the diagonals. Then unfold.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Fold the edges of the square. Make them meet in the center.
    Story: in one planet there are four continents.


  3. Step 3

    Turn the square other side up and fold the edges again.
    Story: in each continent there are four countries.

  4. Step 4

    Repeat the process on the other side of the square.
    Story: in each country there are four cities.

    Ok, this step is difficult to explain, so I'll take photos. Turn the paperother side up AGAIN.

    Now, push one of the edges up...

    and press it down. Repeat with all edges.
    Story: and each city has a flag.

    Pick two of the rectangles made in the previous step...

    ...and strech them out.

    Fold the new parts....

    and put them under the other section.
    Story: in one of those cities there's a happy couple. The boy gives the girl a jersey...

    Make both rectangles meet by folding them together.

    Story: and the girl gives him a pair of trousers.

    Unfold the "trousers" and repeat steps 8-10.
    Story: all this happens in a picnic table.

    See that X that appears in the square?Pinch the edges of the lines and make them meet.
    Story: he gives her a flower.

    Turn the thing around and make the edges meet.
    Story: they get on a boat.

    Open one side of the boat and pinch the triangle thingy inside it. Pull it up and fold the three edges to the middle. Then fold the square in half.
    Story: the go to a restaurant but it's closed.

    Repeat process on the other side.
    Story: they look for a chocolate box but all the shops are closed.

    Pinch the flaps that you just made...

    and strech them sideways. That's it, you just finished the box!

    Story: and finally, they found a great box of chocolate.
