Based on Origami Butterfly by Blackbird
This is the itty bitty version.
At first, I had no idea how to proceed step No. 6. But after reading the comments, it suddenly made sense.
I used a 2x2cm origami paper and it ended around 1cm. Prior to folding, I covered the paper back and front with white glue to make it more sturdy.
I think it makes a nice earring stud.
