One-Piece Wearable done recycle-style
So in yesterday's post I showed you this cool pink polka dot skirt I scored at Swap-o-rama-rama.

And here is how I did it:

  • How to make a halter dress. One Piece Wearable - Step 1
    Step 1

I cut the elastic waistband off.

  • Step 2

Opened the two side seams with a seamripper long enough to go from my neck to under my arm plus an inch or so to make the new casing for the ribbon tie.

  • Step 3

I then top stitched the new arm openings.

  • Step 4

Then I folded down the top edge of the fabric about an inch and topstitched the new neck casing.

  • Step 5

All that was left to do was thread a black ribbon through both the front and back casings and I had myself a new one-piece wearable upcycled dress!
