Old socks into 2-part fingerless gloves
I made these when it was really really cold in my room at uni, but I still needed to work, which I find really difficult to do in full-length gloves. These are made from the cuff, which is just cut, and from the foot of the sock, which has the fingers sewn into it. However I only sewed the index finger on the left hand (my writing hand) because I find it much easier to write like that. The second layer came about because I cut the thumbhole too high up so left all my fingers cold! However having a second layer makes it much warmer. I wear these nearly all the time now!
