Old School House Scherenschnitte
I cut a lot of houses/buildings with an "open view". This is one of an old school house that I did. It's called scherenschnitte (paper cutting).

I was atrocious at it when I first started 12 years ago and more often than not my fingertips were cut to ribbons. Now, I can create a piece like this in a few hours with no cut fingers. :)

It takes a while to cut the more detailed pieces of artwork. The simple/basic pieces of artwork can be cut in 30 minutes or less. If you're new at it, I'd start out with a simpler pattern to avoid frustration/burn out. :)
