THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!! I was very very disappointed with these. I did JUST what the recipe said and when I put them in the oven they got all liquidly and all melted together. And when I tried to get them off the pan the just became a huge pile of crumbs. So then I added more flour so that there were 2 cups all together and put those in the oven. They didn't melt to each other but they were extremely crumbly. I was very very disappointed. Waste of time, money, and food.
P.S.
Picture 1: All melted together.
Picture 2: Pile of crumbs.
Picture 3: With 2 cups of flour all together.
P.P.S. SO DO NOT MAKE!

i've had this happen to me before it's normal one of two things - either too much sugar (caramalises when heated and creates this bubbly effect making them really crunchy, bit like brandy snaps) or not using real butter, sometimes spreads do not work properly in recipes. it is very annoying when this happens, can totally sympathise.

It was real butter. And I made sure I didn't use to much sugar.
