You Will Need

Step 1Sketch out the design of your choice. I drew an angular heart and added some more connecting lines to fill the heart with more geometric shapes.

Step 2From an old (fashion) magazine, cut out pieces of the most funky looking fabrics you can find.

Step 3Using a pencil, trace the design onto the notebook cover by layering a sheet of carbon tracing paper facing downwards in between the notebook on the bottom and the paper with the design on top.

Step 4If necessary, use a ruler for help.

Step 5You will now have traced the shape onto the cover of the notebook.

Step 6use thesame technique to transfer all the litle triangles onto the magazie scraps.

Step 7Cut out the traingles and glue them onto their rightful place on the notebook using a glue stick.

Step 8Optionally, paint over the design with mod podge for extra security, being careful not to go over the design as the glue will be visible otherwise.

Step 9Happy note taking!
