On my recent Joanns sale raid, I discovered they offered various colors of tulle in small rolls of 5 inches by 12 feet. I bought 2 rolls, 1 of purple, one of black (that was the last purple available, scorreee!). They had other colors but they weren't particularly interesting (silver, red, maroon, dark green, light green, pink, gold). The roll cost $2.50 which I think might be a LITTLE too much for the quantity but ahwell. I cut the roll halfway down the center, making each strp 2 1/2 inches wide and twice the length from my hip to the top of my knee. It would look even better if I had just one more roll because when it stretches, there are gaps in the band, but ahwell <:)
