No Sew Fleece Blanket & Pillow

  • Completed Project: No Sew Fleece Blanket & Pillow Picture #1

ok, so the pillow needs sewing...

First I made the blanket by cutting a square out of the two different kinds of fleece (starry night + navy blue). Then you cut 6 inch squares off of each corner. Then you cut a fringe - about 1 inch works best. Then you knot the fringe to tie the two pieces together. I had so much leftover fabric, so I experimented by taking a 14x14 inch pillow form and making a slip cover for it. I cut out 9 squares 13cmx13cm, stitched them together with the sewing machine and then just used the navy blue plain on the back. I thought it would be a cute little set for someone's nursery, boy or girl.
