Nintendo Controller Necklace

  • Completed Project: Nintendo Controller Necklace Picture #1

What better way to show your love for old school video games then by wearing it around your neck.

-If you wanted you could use an actual controller, but I couldn't bring myself to destroy one-

The controller is actually a Mint Container. I got it when I went on my family vacation and decided to pimp it up after I ate all the mints.

  1. Step 1

I made sure the container was cleaned out, the mints left a weird dust inside and the smell was pretty raunchy.

  2. Step 2

Mark the sides with a sharpie where you will drill the holes before you drill just to make sure the holes will be even.

  3. Step 3

After drilling, take the top of the container off and thread the necklace string through.

  4. Step 4

Put the lid back on and tie a jump ring to one end of the string and a lobster clasp or another type of clasp if you prefer to the other end of the string.

    Ta-da!
Enjoy showing off your old school style with pride.
