Paint your nails whatever color you want. (I never put a base coat on when I do my nails like this, but you can.) -Also, I find lighter colors like white work the best.

Fill the bowl with enough alcohol that you could submerge a fingernail completely in it.

After your nails are completely dry, dip one fingernail into the bowl, then take a piece of newspaper and spread it on top of it. Press down for a couple of seconds, then peel off. Repeat for each nail.

After your nails are dry, put a top coat on. You don't have to, but it makes it last longer. (By the way, sorry for how messy my nails are in the picture, I rushed that one!)
