These are a few sets of stationery I made several years ago. I used comics from various Pittsburgh-area newspapers. The cards are from a heavier kind of newsprint I found.

I used my own envelope pattern.

Over the course of 3 months, I think I made about 500 envelopes and cards for school sales and special orders. Lots of cutting paper, but also lots of fun!
