i hate when my chapsticks run low and you can't get the rest out so i decided to take them out melt them down and put them back in the tubes now if i only had awesome packaging

you can always add vasoline if the color is to strong

Gut your old chapsticks into whatever you are going to melt them in i used a metal bottle top that i held over a fire
Melt the chapstick

Pour it into the tubes (make sure they are all the way down) let it cool and voila you have new chapsticks

i used holding a metal cap with pliers over a candle but you could alway put it in a glass bowl over boiling water

could you also use recipes for homemade chastick one finds on the internet with empty chapstick tubes?
