About
From plain vest top to nautical vest top!
I saw a nice top on the internet and decided to recreate one for myself.
This is my first how-to, I hope it makes sense!

Step 1Get your top and fabric, my top was just a cheap Primark find and I cadged the fabric.

Step 2Cut a piece of fabric (10" x 7" approx) and lay it across the top section of the vest.

Step 3Sew the fabric to the top, making sure it's even on either side of the stitches.

Step 4Pin the fabric to the top, tucking the frayed edge under, and sew using a neat backstitch. Repeat on the other side.

Step 5Pin and sew on a small square of fabric (1.5" x 1.5") to the middle of the bow, fold and sew as before.

Step 6Taa Daa! All done :)
