This top is based on a tutorial at Carbon Couture on a version of designer Phillip Lim's nautical theme top.
I was able to make this version for under $8, but the stones are a little heavy - a lighter weight t-shirt would not work with as many stones as I used without pulling down the fabric.
I couldn't find any large flat beads at any of the local craft stores, so I resorted to using the decorative stone that you can get at the dollar store.

It should, as the Amazing Goop "glues whatever bonds forever". I did a test run through the with just the stones with interfacing in a pillowcase 3 times and they held fast.
I would recommend, as with any top that has studs or any 3-D embellishments, wash inside a lingere bag or zippered pillowcase to avoid them them from catching on other items and falling off or possibly damaging other items.
Another possibility would be to put them on removable yolk that you would attach with Velcro instead of putting them on the T-shirt.
