My Hats!!

Jumping on the slouchy hat band wagon
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

I made these because I really couldn't find what I was looking for and if I did I knew I could make one just as good!!

Its pretty much a double crochet around til its rather flat the I just double crocheted til I got it to fold in a little. There are three rows of the counterpain stitch I think its called (you go to make a single crochet, YO, pull through one loop, YO pull through last two) and the last one before the brim is dc.

I changed from a size K I think to size H...so the brim would be tighter..

Enjoy! Also on mah blog!

Pretty! Did you start off with a chain and if so how many stitches? I would love to make one in teal or hot pink :-)

You just do a circle I think, so i'd start with a chain of six if I was attempting it.

yeah i did a ch of 5, then joined in a circle, ch2 and dc i think either 10 or 12, joined, ch 2 but did NOT turn, then increased for six rows, then dc around for 2 or 3 (it would help if i had the hat with me but I dont..blah) then did counterpain for 4 (i remember that) then row of dc, then with H hook did 5 ish rows for the brim..
