I just finished these up today. I cannot wait to wear them. I absolutely Love the movie My Neighbor Totoro so I decided to get a cheap pair of plain white shoes and paint them.
I can't draw very well but I think they turned out pretty good. I just put a random time for how long it takes. I had schoolwork to do so I'm not sure on the exact time.
I just drew some sketches of what characters I might want to use. Then I drew them on the shoes with pencil and went over them with paint. I looked up pictures of Totoro shoes and took different parts from the ones I liked. =]
