Every time I buy a pack of empty CDs, they come with this transparent cd shaped plastic and I never got around what to do with them. Some very old music sheets and I had beautiful new costers in less than 20 minutes!
*For best results, use only a glue stick, not liquid white glue!*

Glad you do! These were really fun to do. Can't wait to have more plastic disks and do a different theme. :)

I buy Teac, Silverline, white brands... sometimes, there is a foam disk instead, but I think it only happened once. I think the main idea is, as with a lot of things we would throw away, to keep them. These just seem like a terrible waste of perfectly good plastic.
If you don't have enough to make a set of coasters, ask your friends to keep theirs for you. You'll have lot of them in no time! :)
Cheers!
