1. 

   

   Melt some butter in a frying pan, chop up the mushrooms and onion and fry until soft.

2. 

   

   Add a few splashes of red wine. Add the cream and leave to cook for a few minutes.

3. 

   

   Season with salt, pepper and any spices you want.

4. 

   

   Cook up some fresh pancakes, or buy some ready made and then serve with the stroganoff on top.
