Instructions

  1. 1

Once you have all your supplies cast on 14 stitches (you can pick the color of yarn). Using straight knitting, knit about 20 rows. Use a coffee mug to double check that it's going to fit (:.Sew the ends to together so you have a sleeve. Now get ready to make the pom pom :D.

  2. 2

Take your piece of cardboard, your compass and draw a circle about 2inches in diameter then in the middle of the circle make a smaller one about 2cm in diameter now cut out that smaller circle.

  3. 3

Place the rings together. The idea now is to wind the wool around the rings. Cut the wool into manageable lengths around 6 feet. Keep doing this until the cardboard is covered, you don't need to tie any knots just make sure the ends aren't facing the middle.

  4. 4

Next take your scissors start snipping away at the edges until you can see the cardboard. This is the hard part. Take a piece of yarn and tie it tightly around the middle. Remove the cardboard cut it if you have to. Trim any long threads so your pom pom is neat & tidy. Attach your pom pom to the sleeve using a darning needle.
