Description
While I tend to not wear shirts with slogans all that often, and men's XL t-shirt with a HUGE picture on it even less, I needed to find a good use for one of my favorite shirts. I am just a bit of a Star Trek fanatic, while not quite a trekkie. I took this t-shirt, added some nice plaid fabric and some space Robert Kaufman faric, did a little hand embroidery and wa-la! An apron fit for any nerd chef or geek crafter. While this was truly one of my first real sewing projects, I am quite pleased with the way it turned out. I can't help but be a huge nerd.

Not only am I a Trekkie raised by Trekkie parents with a Trekkie best friend, my first ever crush was Spock. I was about 7 when it started. It was the most pure crush of my life. I love the apron.

Just the coolest apron I have ever seen. I want to become a Trekkie now just so I can wear all things Spock. SO COOL!
