You can cement whatever you want or do it in any pattern or no pattern. I have done mine in my shed, far better than a plain cement floor :)

Smash your plate or glass or whatever you are going to use. I used damaged plates and mugs and bowls that were no longer usable. Little tip: Chairty shops don't sell any damaged plates or mugs. They are given to recycling. Ask for them and give a donation?

Gather your pieces.

Mix your cement and sand.

Lay the cement and sand. I used a random piece of flat slate I found in my garden.

Start laying.

Do as much as you want. Be careful usiing the cement and sand without gloves, or just wear gloves.
