Mothers Day Trinket Box

small and sweet... for your mum or any other special person in your life.
I found small wood box for about £1.90 in wilkos and thought it would be good to decorate. So i dug through my draws of random stuff and pulled out a few old buttons and a broken necklace etc.. then just stuck em on in a pretty way it worked out a lot better than i thought considering it is decorated from bits and pieces i had laying around.

I got a bit carried away in the end and lined the inside with felt and even added some flashy led lights under the felt! I had one of those flashy necklaces in the shape of a butterfly, I just broke it open and used the lights out of it. Then stuck a crystal heart on top so when you press the heart the lights go on and flash :)
