Based on Moo's Paw Print Mold by michelle G.
My mom had this in her favorite's list, and I needed to come up with something for her birthday last week- and I knew this was something she had been talking about for a few weeks. :)

I made this for my mom for her birthday last week, and she loved it and its hanging on the wall.

I started with a black spray painted wooden plaque sign. I then used Sculpy to make the mold of my mom's dog's paw print. I then added the sculpy paw print to the wooden mold. I baked it at 275 degrees for about 20 minutes. Once cool, I then painted the paw print black and then did 2 coats of silver paint (acrylic paint, and this way you don't need as many coats of paint). I then added my mom's dog's name and her month & year of birth to the plaque, so my mom will always have her dog with her.

**I actually tried to do my mom's kitten's paw first. Didn't work, kitten refused to cooperate, go figure, and the mold just didn't look right. LOL

I absolutely LOVE my B-Day present!! Happy Thanks, Bri! Now I will always have a part of Akayla with me, even when she's gone (she's an old gal now). Happy
