A quick and easy refreshment to make for your little monsters

Scrumptous stawberry drink that is sugar free with a bit of slushie brain freeze - it is the monster blood biting you back!

  1. Step 1

    The key to this is to start out with a chunk of ice instead of ice cubes so the end result in more coarse that a regular slushie.

    This is an old cheese containter, but a small margarine tub would do also.

    Pour in water and freeze until it is hard.

  2. Step 2

    Once the ice is frozen, remove it by running warm water over the plastic bottom until it will slide out, then put it in the blender, along with the strawberries, sugar substitute, and ginger ale in a blender and blend on "chop" until it is blended but the ice still coarse.

ha! i have those same skele-cups :) i love drinking anything red from them - always looks like blood. great idea for the slushie! it sounds tasty.
