This is a fun, dramatic way to wear red eyeshadow. It reminded me as sort of a modern day geisha look.

Step 1As always, apply a primer to your lids to keep your eyeshadow in place. Apply a deeply pigmented red eyeshadow all over your lid. I used a limited edition eyeshadow by Sugarpill called "@#$%"

Step 2Blend out the red with a large fluffy brush.

Step 3Apply a dramatic cat eye. I used Makeup Artist Network Ultimate Crème Liner in Blackness.

Step 4Clean up any red eyeshadow fallout with concealer.

Step 5Smudge the red eyeshadow on your bottom lid extending outward on the outer corner.

Step 6Using a white eyeliner, fill in your waterline. Extend the white on the inner corner as well as following the wings on the outer corners.

Step 7Finish off the look with mascara and false lashes.
