You Will Need

Step 1Find an old mixtape or cassette.

Step 2Grab your sharpies & color a design onto one or both sides (if you color both sides differently, it's like you have two necklaces).

Step 3Cut two lengths of black ribbon as long or short as you'd like. The longer the ribbon, the lower the necklace will hang. I cut mine at about 8 inches each.

Step 4Glue the ribbon to the left or right side of the cassette.

Step 5Thread the end of the ribbon through a jump ring, and glue or tie it closed.

Step 6Take the other ribbon and thread the end through a jewelery clasp, and glue or tie it closed.

Step 7Hook the clasp through the jump ring, and your creation is ready to wear!

I did a lazy version with my dictaphone tapes a while ago, where i just thread a chain/ribbon through the two holes in the tape. I love them.. but your way looks awesome.
