    Step 2

Roll the dough to about 1/4 in thickness and cut into shapes (I used a drinking glass for cookie rounds)

    Step 3

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes....take out before fully baked.

Using a cookie cutter (any shape) make an impression in the center of the cookie and WIGGLE it a bit to make some room around the shape. Do not remove this shape, keep it inside the cookie.

Continue baking till done about another 5-7 minutes.

    Step 4

Cookies are ready to be frosted and decorated. You can remove the center cut-outs and decorate them separately or you can decorate them the same as the outside of the cookie. Add sprinkles or colored sugar to the frosting to make them each unique and colorful.

    Step 5

When serving let your guests mix and match the centers to the cookies making their own special creations. The more colorful they are the more fun it is to select MIX and MATCH COOKIES!
