Small but sweet!
Bit of a long story behind these, so I'll cut to the chase lol!

They are about 1 inch long, 1/2 an inch wide and were made using a pattern I put together myself. I used thick silk ribbon for the overall thing and added trimming, ribbon straps, a silk bow & teeny tiny beads for buttons. Also, to make it seem more shaped, I sewed curved lines either side of the middle straight one. There are loads of variations you could do, so really, the world is your oyster! (Is that how the saying goes?!)

Haven't totally found a use for them yet, but I guess they would make great card toppers - especially if they have little coathangers as well!

Enjoy ;-)

Really cool. If you scaled them up a bit they would be excellent design for glasses cases x

Thanks! I can't remember the actual website that I bought the trimmings from, but this is the kind of stuff that you'll need: http://www.littletrimmings.com/BraidsMenu.asp
Sorry I haven't posted a how-to yet, everything's been kinda hectic, but there will be one soon! x

Those are really cute. Where did you get the little trim for them? I would really love to learn how to make them. I agree with Ashlie G, they would make a cute key chain.

even if you found no practical use for them they would make lovely keychains for your friends
