Mini Quilt 2
 <  Image 1 of 3  >

This design was initially inspired by a mini-quilt I saw in a magazine but I am afraid I cannot remember which one and I changed the design quite a bit so it is by no means a copy. It was made using: three co-ordinating pieces of fabric, wadding, ribbon for hanging it, cotton quilting thread, buttons for the stars and flowers, all-purpose cotton threadfor the binding. I used craft felt, which was all I had on hand although I suspect that wool felt would be easier and nicer to work with and I used embroidery silk for the monogram and the running stitch on the felt.
