You Will Need
I love top hats, I think that they are cute and elegant. They add that extra something to any outfit. I have picked up several different tips from different people. I wish I remembered their names to give them credit. I have struggled to make one and this is my second succesful attempt.

You can save yourself alot of time by purchasing a top hat from a Michael in the doll section. Its smaller than I had hoped, but it turned out well. At first it looks discouraging, but dont worry. Once you add your touches it will be fine.

attach the comb to the base of the top hat, to make it stand out more (so that it is easier to put it into your hair) I stuffed it with some fabric scraps, but thats up to you.

love it! I always see how to make one like completely handmade. I never would have thought to use one from the doll aisle! Very smart!

Love it! I've had my eye on a little hat for ages, but can't bear to buy on from Accesorize for £30! Thanks for the inspiration, expect a version soon!
