so my mom bought this amazing book by Taylor Hagerty on Miniture Scrapbooks and i just couldn't wait to get my hands busy and try to make one. this is one i made for my friend's birthday.

handmade gifts beats any other store bought ones and it was faster to put together than a big scrapbook page.

what i've learnt:
-less is more. i did go a bit mad and add a lot of embellishments and bits so keep it simple.

-color themes or any other themes help keep the book in flow. cohesion is important so that the scrapbook doesn't look totally different from page to page.

-collect leftover scrapbook paper and use them! the pages are supposed to be small and little amounts are all that's needed. think about that before going off to get supplies.
