Ok first you cut open a milk carton,then you trim off the house part from the top so that you can have one side as your open top.

Second paste the entire carton then apply tissue paper all over one side. YOu can also use news paper if your going for a more mod style, its just as fun.

Alright now you get the handy dandy ruler and make the squares you want to cut out,

turn the carton over and cut the squares out with a blade...

Now paste the other paper(origami paper)or wax paper onto the carton...the opposite said from the tissue paper side. (just use a little paste.)

Now glue gun or super glue the carton back together. Let it sit for a while and then there you go there's the lantern. You can place a candle or a light inside and if wanted you can use some wire and a hole punch to add a hanging piece.

Now hang it up!!
