  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    grab some wire clippers...

  2. Step 2

    clothes pins...when you go to buy them you will notice that there are two types of clothes pins...
    some springs are closer together as these ones are...

    the other ones have a wider spring and you won't have to do anything but take them apart and reinsert into the spring...

    pull apart the clothes pin...you'll notice that the ends over lap...

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    with wire cutters cut the clothes pin back...i cut it back so that there is just a little space between the two ends...


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    cut off both sides of clothes pin...

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    insert one end in...

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    pull other side over the spring and insert it...keep repeating steps until length desired...

yeah i started making these when i was a little girl...many years ago...and my dad wasn't that impressed being that i was always steeling all of his clothes pins and when he went to hang out the laundry he wouldn't have any pins in his bucket...oh and that he could never find his wire cutters either...
