Step 1
1. Pre-style your clean hair by spraying some dry-shampoo as this gives much more volume and friction than mousse.
Step 2
2. Tease your hair with a comb for more volume and twirl it into a spiral ponytails.
Step 3
3. Pull your hair in a loose loop on top of your head. Tie it with a small elastic that is the colour of your hair. Twist your hair under the elastic or around it so it does not show. You may need to add a couple of pins to secure it.
Step 4
4. Pull the bun down to the back of your head, so it hangs a bit more loosely and flare the edges out of the sides. Tweak the look by loosening some hair and let fallen strands hang in a careless manner.
Step 5
5. Voilá the messy boho bun is complete! Ps. This bun looks great with a braid on the side.
