For this project I centered a mermaid pewter charm onto chain necklace by jump ring. I found these faux mother of pearl coins. To make them into drops I made my own eyepins out of wire. I attached each coin equal links away from the charm by jumprings as well. I wear this necklace fairly often. People always ask me where I bought it :-)
