  Step 1

  Start with a pressed Men's shirt, I know this one is wrinkly...but my hubby gave it to me and it's been in a drawer for awhile

  I used a Men's small and am size extra small I would suggest using a Mens shirt 1 size larger than what you wear. If you want a longer or shorter skirt you could probably use a different size as well.

  Step 2

  First fold the shirt so the shirt has a straight line along the top and across the sleeves, hope that makes sense.

  Step 3

  Begin buttoning the shirt from the bottom up, Button as high as you can.

  Step 4

  Now you should have this.

  Step 5

  Begin twisting the sleeves

• 

  Step 6

  I tied my sleeves on the side, but you can try whatever variations you want.

  Double knot the sleeves!

  Step 7

  Next unroll the sleeves and roll them up like you would if you were wearing the shirt. I made small rolls to keep my rosettes smaller.

  Step 8

  Ta-daa your done! Now go rock your new skirt!

  I like how the top looks a bit like a bag skirt.
