Do you need another proof?
Robots already existed in the middle ages. Robot-inventing-people just don´t tell you, because they don´t want to share fame with some old medieval alchemist. Like Berchtold Tiegeltrümmerer, Enderlyn von Donnerbalken or Grimel Grantwald.

...Okay, obviously I made that up. I just like the idea.
But de facto my robot is wearing a "gugel" - a hood with a short cape worn in the High Middle Ages.
And it suits him well :3
