i've made this colourful brooch from five layers of felt and a fabric covered button from incywincystitches,
it has another layer of thick cardboard to stop the brooch going floppy and i have sewn a safety pin securely onto the backing {i prefer these fastenings as i find the brooch can then lay flat}
