Mardi Gras Face Painting

Sponge a layer of pink from the corner of the eye, and up into the hairline.

Add a layer of metallic purple to the edges.
-
Using a brush, outline the purple edges with dark plum. Using a dry brush, drag the color into the metallic purple.

Using a small brush, outline the plum with black. Go back with a dry brush and drag the black into the plum.

Using a brush, outline the eye. Be sure that your lines come to a point.

Using a brush, add black swirls, curls and dots. Try to follow the contour of the face.

Using the handle of a brush add the teal polka dots. Be sure that the sizes of the dots are varied.
-
Last, add gold glitter and color in the lips with metallic purple and black.

so freaking cool. i'd love to have that painted on my face for halloween for work! i can see the MP's at the gate when i pull up and hand them my id!!
