farm chores usually leave me with quite the pile of nasty clothes...i needed something all natural and cheap ...but extra strength!
so i found a recipe and tweeked it to make my own hard core laundry soap..
start be grating your bars of soap. best if you can find castile soap but any thing will do......strongly against dial!
melt down you shavings in a sauce pan with some water...add more water if needed...a wisk really helps to break up the chunks..
In a 5 gallon bucket add 2 c. of borax and 2 c. of washing soda....fill halfway with hot water.
after soap is melted into liquid add it to the bucket while finishing filling up the bucket with hot water. mix well and your done...you can use it right away...but in the morning it should have gelled and solidified...and i use about 1-2 c. in each load depending on how dirty everything is...
its so cheap and natural you can use how ever much you want...trial and error ...
