First crochet a piece of yarn long enough to wrap around your head with extra to tie
-
Next, do two more strips the same way
-
Now tie them together at one end and if they are long enough you can braid them. then tie the other ends together
-
Finally, tie around your head and there you have it!

how is it strong on your head?

it stays on quite well. the one with three strands stays better because theres more places it can hold on to than the braided one, you know?

For me, when these things are too tight they can ping off so this way you can get it at exactly the right length for your head. I found it easier to crochet the two ends together of each chain and then crochet all together in one spot - I'm so bad at tying knots and making neat ends! great project x
