Alright, I know from first hand experience that it can be difficult to find origami paper sometimes and so I have improvised by cutting colored paper into squares and also scrapbook paper with one side that is white. However, in these two videos, i show how to make your own one sided origami squares using acrylic and watercolor paint along with dying the paper with tea. I have some pictures above of some examples of using the paper i have made into a project. Thank you for your time. I'm sorry if I sound awkward in the videos, I'm kind of an awkward person...
This first video shows 2 different watercolor techniques (splatter and wash) along with tea dying.
This second video shows multiple ways to make origami paper using acrylic paint.
